SYNOPSIS
'Featherhead' is a sad poignant tale of a lifelong love story that unexpectedly comes to and end after an intense moment of youthful love.
BACKGROUND
A sad story of an elderly couple Mary and John, Mary has Alzheimer's and John is increasingly frustrated with her, he doesn't seem to be coping very well and has become very angry and bitter towards her.
A quiet word from their neighbour, Alice makes John look at his wife differently again. Mary has a moment of recognition that takes them back to a memory of their younger days together.
The last moments Mary and John spend together are loving and affectionate towards one another, as they dance to an old favourite song and snuggle up by the fire and fall asleep.
In the morning Alice comes over to check if everything's alright to discover John has died, she looks sadly out of the window at a lonely Mary, wandering the garden aimlessly.
