COMMUNITY HOMEPAGE

Since 2001, we have designed, developed and delivered award-winning film projects with young people at risk including those in the care system, youth offenders, young parents, young refugees and asylum seekers and those who are homeless.

In the past seven years we have helped young people from a variety of services, supporting them to acquire the skills necessary to produce their own films. Young people from around the North East have been introduced into all elements of filmmaking, from acting to script development, from filming to editing. Our projects work consistently alongside skilled practitioners, to ensure that the people we support gain transferrable skills which aid their social inclusion and future employability whilst also developing ever-progressive, thoughtful and award-winning film works

So far this process has produced a series of hard-hitting, original and award-winning films proving Superkrush Film’s unrivalled expertise in supporting young people to deliver films which manage to be both visually stunning an thought-provoking.
Superkrush also offer many groups the chance to work on shorter-term projects to produce short films that are entered into national and international film festivals.

Teams of professionals support all of our projects with many years’ experience in their fields. All of our employees are CRB checked as standard. We have a Child Protection Policy available upon request and Public Liability and Employee Liability Insurance in place up to the total of £10 million.
