Swimwear TV spot
Our Shopaholics are re-united yet again. Thought to be rehabilitated, they help their therapist lead a rally against the evils of shopping. However, their surroundings and the discounts prove to be too much for them to handle and they fall off the non-shopping wagon once more.
Christmas TV spot
This spot features "Becky", a shopaholic. We follow "Becky" throughout her day-to-day activities hanging around the Royal Quays Shopping Centre during the Christmas season benefitting from all that the centre has to offer.
Sportswear TV spot
This spot features "Steven", a shopaholic addicted to sportswear. "Steven", whilst sitting in a Shopaholics Anonymous meeting, shows the group all of the great sportswear deals he got at the Royal Quays Shopping Centre.
Royal Quays was one of the first outlet centres in the UK.
With over 50 shops in the centre, effective advertising was essential to ensure all stores received equal coverage and exposure in the ads.
Lateral Advertising, who handles advertising for Royal Quays, approached Superkrush to create and produce a series of television advertisements that would meet their specific needs.
Rather than take a straight forward "these are our shops and this is what they sell" approach for the ad, Lateral advertising and Superkrush conceptualized a comedic narrative that revolved around a group of shopaholics who met weekly for a Shopaholics Anonymous meeting. In these meetings, whilst discussing their ongoing struggle with shopping addiction, the characters incorporated the different shops and products offered in the centre into their conversations. Shot using our high definition camera, the ad campaign brilliantly showcases what the Royal Quays Outlet Centre has to offer.
